A Day In The Life Of Our Solo Star Juicer

At raw-pleasure.com.au we've come to value our Solo Star! We love the Green Star too but I would panic when the children went near a thousand dollar machine not so much with this one! We've put together a quick vid demonstrating how we mostly use our Solostar in our day to day life. The recipes from this vid for you! Breakfast Juice For The Kiddies - bit.ly Mummy Juice - bit.ly Soft Serve Chocana Ice-Dream - bit.ly Essene Bread* *Ok ok. We're a raw food site. I'm acutely aware of this fact. I'm a raw foodie but my children still eat bread and Brock, who is gluten intolerant, can have this. When grain is sprouted the gluten converts to amino sugars so this bread is very sweet and tasty. To make it here I soaked 3 cups of wheat grain in water overnight, rinsed the grain twice a day for 1 ½ - 2 days until the tails of the sprouts were almost as long as the grain. If the tails get too long your bread will taste like grass so if you let it get too long you'd be better off making wheatgrass with it instead. Once the grain is ready, put it through your Solostar or any quality juicer with the blank plate. But don't overload your juicer! Slowly does it. I take about 7 -- 10 minutes to put the grain through. Ok, once your wheat has been through the machine bake it for about 6 hours on 100C. I also put a baking tray with good quality water in the oven to stop the bread from drying out too much. This is a cooked loaf! It's definitely not raw which is why the recipe is not on our site ...
